Neil really captures the atmosphere of the all nighter, the colours are vibrant, yet the shading reveals the darkness of the club. You could be there -  immersed again in the Northern Soul scene.

Neil has been part of the Northern Soul scene since the early 1970's. He's visited many Northern Soul clubs and was a regular at the Casino during the 1970's. All his art is done from memory, he doesn't need to use old photographs - he was there in the glory days of Northern Soul!
