This was the date that Major Lance appeared at the Golden Torch Northern Soul club in Tunstall, Stoke on Trent. His performance at the all nighter was recorded by Contempo records and was released as a live album in 1973 (an image of the album can be seen in photo 6). Neil's pencil sketch pays tribute to that special night. The sketch shows a scene outside the Torch, with scooters parked up and the crowd beginning to gather.
